No. Those handle nightly table reservations well. BookZync owns the part they handle badly: high-value private-event and large-party inquiries that arrive by form or DM and die in the inbox. We capture and qualify those inquiries so you can secure the booking. Keep your reservation tool for nightly covers; the AI can take ordinary table bookings too.
No, and that's deliberate. The AI tells the qualified host your team will send your own deposit or hold link (your Stripe, Square, or Tock). The money goes straight to you. BookZync remains a software platform only — payment processing, refunds, and chargeback management stay with your existing payment provider, while you keep the deposit that locks the booking.

You set up your event spaces in the dashboard and put your minimums and packages in the AI's training, so it can explain them; it asks every inquiry the date, headcount, occasion and budget.

BookZync keeps its own calendar. It does not read Google Calendar, Outlook or your booking software, so it cannot see appointments you booked somewhere else — tell it your busy times and hours in the dashboard, and it books only into the open ones. You can subscribe to your BookZync bookings from Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook with a private link, so they show up on your phone by themselves (one way, read-only).
