Why the timing?Paddle (our payment processor) holds and releases the customer's payment to us on its schedule. We pay you once that money is safely ours -- so a commission is never clawed back after you're paid. If a payment is later reversed by the bank (chargeback), that commission is void.

Do I need sales experience?+

No. If you know local service businesses and can explain BookZync honestly, you can do well. The quiz makes sure you understand the product first.

When do I get paid?+

Monthly. A commission is confirmed once Paddle releases the customer's payment to BookZync, then paid to you within 7 business days (once your balance reaches the $50 minimum).

What if a customer cancels or disputes?+

If a payment is reversed by the bank (chargeback) or the processor, that commission is void. You're paid on money that's safely settled.

Can I retake the quiz?+

Yes -- you can retry. We don't show the correct answers; it's about genuinely understanding the product so you pitch it well.

How do I get paid out?+

You add your own payment link (PayPal, Wise, Interac, etc.) in your portal. We send your payout there.

Is there a cost to join?+

No. Joining is free. You apply, pass the quiz, and once approved you can start referring.

Affiliate Terms & Conditions

Here are the terms of the BookZync Affiliate Program in plain English. By applying and joining, you agree to them. We've kept them clear on purpose -- if anything is unclear, email [email protected] before you start.

1. Who can join

You must be at least 18 and able to work as an independent contractor in your country (we currently run the program in the USA and Canada). You also need to pass the product quiz and be approved by us. One affiliate account per person.

2. Applying and getting approved

Registering is an application, not automatic acceptance. We review every applicant and approve at our discretion, and we can decline or remove anyone at any time -- especially for dishonest or low-quality pitching. You cannot refer or earn until we approve you.

3. Your most important promise -- explain BookZync honestly and fully

You must understand the product and describe it accurately and completely to every prospect. That means no exaggeration, no made-up features, no “it does everything” claims, no guarantees we haven't authorised, and no pressure or misleading tactics. Set realistic expectations -- BookZync is an AI assistant that works in a business's chat and messaging. If a customer signs up confused or misled, you have not met this term. Breaking it can void your commissions and end your participation.

4. How referrals are counted

Log each business you pitch in your portal (name, contact, location). A business becomes “yours” when it is first correctly logged to you and is not already a BookZync customer or already in active discussions with us. If two affiliates refer the same business, the first valid, properly-logged referral wins. We decide attribution fairly and in good faith, and our decision is final.

5. What counts as a real referral

It must be a genuine business you actually introduced, at arm's length. The following earn nothing: referring yourself or businesses you own or control, fake or duplicate entries, and businesses already talking to us before your referral.

6. What you earn

You earn a one-time 10% commission on each sale -- that is, 10% of what a business pays when they become a paying BookZync customer through your referral. It is a per-sale commission, not a recurring cut of their ongoing subscription. The rate in effect at the time of the sale applies.

7. When a commission is earned vs. confirmed

A commission is earned when a business you referred becomes a paying customer (the sale). It is confirmed once Paddle (our payment processor) releases that payment to BookZync. Only confirmed commissions are paid out.

8. When and how you get paid

We pay monthly. Once a commission is confirmed, it is paid on the next monthly cycle, within 7 business days, as long as your total owed has reached the $50 minimum (smaller balances roll over to the next month). We pay to the payment link you set in your portal (PayPal, Wise, Interac, etc.). Keep it correct -- we are not responsible for money sent to a wrong link you provided.

9. Refunds, chargebacks, and reversals

BookZync does not offer general refunds. A refund is only given if something is genuinely wrong on our side that we are unable to fix. Separately, a customer can still dispute a charge with their bank (a “chargeback”), which the processor may reverse -- this is outside our control. If a payment is reversed for any reason -- a refund of this kind or a chargeback -- the related commission is cancelled, and if we already paid it to you we may deduct it from future payouts.

10. Taxes

You are an independent affiliate, not a BookZync employee, so we do not withhold any tax -- you are responsible for your own. Where the law requires it, we may issue a tax form (for example a 1099-NEC in the US or a T4A in Canada) and may need your tax details (such as a W-9 or W-8BEN) before we can pay you.

11. Things that are never allowed

The following will forfeit your commissions and can end your participation immediately: spamming (mass email, SMS, or DMs), running ads on BookZync's brand or trademark terms, pretending to be BookZync staff, making false or misleading claims, fake or self-referrals, misusing or sharing prospects' private information, and anything illegal or that harms BookZync's reputation.

12. Your relationship with BookZync

You are an independent contractor. You are not an employee, partner, or legal agent of BookZync, and you may not sign contracts, set prices, make promises, or collect payment on our behalf. You cover your own costs of referring.

13. Confidentiality and customer data

Any non-public information you receive (pricing details, prospect or customer contact info) is confidential. Use prospect information only to make the referral -- never sell, share, or otherwise misuse it -- and follow applicable privacy and anti-spam laws (such as CAN-SPAM in the US and CASL in Canada).

14. Ending the program or your account

You can leave at any time. We can suspend or end your participation, or the entire program, at any time. If we end it and you have not broken these terms, we will still pay any commissions already confirmed. If you broke these terms, unpaid commissions may be forfeited.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update the program and these terms. We will let you know about important changes; continuing as an affiliate after a change means you accept it.

16. No guaranteed income

There is no guaranteed income -- what you earn depends on the businesses you refer that actually become paying customers. The program is provided “as is.”
